Streaming LiveTV TO A BROWSER
Sorry for the caps, but everything seems to directed to the mediaextensers, which are packed for a move - soon I hope.
Placeshifter is up and running although it complains that the port is block but I can get to it. IS there a way, that I can log into the system and stream livetv?

I've never gotten streaming to a browser to work.
What kind of device are you running the browser on? |

There isn't an option for it. I've heard Playon mention but haven't looked into it.

Playon is a service for recording content from other streaming providers.
If you are using laptops or desktops, why not install the Sage TV client and use that for playback? |

I was not aware there was a client for a Windows device. Can you direct me?

You would want to install the Windows client, either 32 or 64 bit based on your needs. |

Installed it and there still is not an option to stream live TV, I'm guessing that I either misread (probable) that STV can not do this?

SageTV client connects to a SageTV server. They you should be able to do any SageTV watching, recorded shows, ripped movies, music, or watching live TV. Just as if you are watching from a SageTV extender or SageTV server. So the menu item that you would select is watch live TV.

Or a somewhat updated online version: https://sagetv.fandom.com/wiki/Manual Both include general troubleshooting as well as Placeshifter-specific info.

You likley want SageTV client rather than SageTV Placeshifter.

Is your Sage TV server the same version as the client you installed?

The idea that this version was different kept bouncing around the empty caverns of my mind, but as the Android app worked, it kinda rolled out one of the holes in my head and that was that. THANK YOU ALL OF YOU for chiming in!
