DST problems
We've just started Daylight Savings Time here in Australia and I'm having some problems with times being out on the SageTV server.
Some information about my setup: 1. I'm running on Windows Home Server (WHS v1.x) 2. WHS shows the correct time 3. WHS has been fully patched using Windows Update 4. I've updated to the latest version of Java on my WHS box 5. The Java update window shows the correct time that I last ran the update 6. I've checked the settings for my XMLTV import and it's showing the correct times 7. The time_zone setting in both Sage.properties and SageClient.properties is set to blank 8. If I run a SageTV client on my laptop, it shows the correct time and the EPG is correct ... but: 9. The SageTV HD200 client attached to my TV shows the INCORRECT time and the EPG is out by 1 hour 10. If I run a SageTV client on the WHS box, it shows the INCORRECT time and the EPG is out by 1 hour 11. The SageTV Web Server shows the INCORRECT time and the EPG is out by 1 hour ... have I missed something that I should have set to take DST into account in SageTV? |

A bit more information on this - programs seem to be recording at the correct times, the EPG is one hour out on the server, but so is the server itself, so at least we're not missing recordings ... but it's still very annoying having the EPG display the wrong times.
Any suggestions? |

I am seeing this as well in Colorado. I also am 1 hour off. E.g. it should say 6 pm but it says 5pm. My server gets it's time set back as well when I install the guide. So, even my server is an hour behind now. I can reset it to the right time, but Sage keeps setting it wrong.

Make sure you have the current DST timezone files/patches installed on your computers.
Especially if you don't let Windows do automatic updates. |

Already done that - server is fully up to date. My server reports the correct time, it's SageTV which is getting it wrong.

OK. I uninstalled Sage and re-installed and this seems to have taken care of the issue.
