Does this provide any insight?

I did look in the /lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/ folder and I do see a file called "libm.so.6".....
Linux defaults to no-you-cannot-do-that. I suspect it was not using the same version of ffmpeg in the same way that Sage does. I can reproduce that error, using the terminal from the Unraid menu.

You need to see SageTV's view of the world, not your view of the world, as your server's overlord. Try this to see SageTV's view and its world.
  1. Go to the Docker tab on Unraid. SageTV must be running
  2. Click on the running SageTV Docker on the left side. This should bring up a context menu.
  3. Click on the second entry ">_ Console"
  4. Enter this in the terminal window that pops up
  5. ./opt/sagetv/server/ffmpeg

When I did the above, here is what I got:
# ./opt/sagetv/server/ffmpeg
FFmpeg version git-f0e896e, Copyright (c) 2000-2010 the FFmpeg developers

libswscale 0.11. 0 / 0.11. 0
Hyper fast Audio and Video encoder
usage: ffmpeg [options] [[infile options] -i infile]... {[outfile options] outfile}...

Use -h to get full help or, even better, run 'man ffmpeg'

This tells me that Sage can access and execute the version of ffmpeg in the ..sagetv/server directory, as required by the application.

Well, I bit the bullet and did the Docker Upgrade. It went smoother than I would have ever expected. I am now able to scan the imported folders and see the durations. So it looks like this fire drill is over for now. Thanks so much for all the help you have offered.
