Comskip works w/ default STV, but not custom one

So, I've been using the old MCE STV since 2009, and haven't had the will to try to switch to something else, mostly because I've always been able to get it to work & find it vastly superior to the default one. Last spring I switched to a Linux server & two Win 10 clients all running v9, and was able to get the MCE STV to work as it used to.

However, I just had to reinstall win 10 since the anniversary update kept hanging on reboot and I've got everything working again except comskip. Before, using the built-in comskip plugins worked just fine. But now if I go into the SageTV settings (which uses the default STV) I can play recordings & see the dark green .edl flags. But even though the old MCE STV plays back just fine, it doesn't see the .edl flags. I'm at a loss as to where to start troubleshooting this...

You need to import the Legacy (V6) Plugin (Comskip_Playback.stvi). Just select the one in the SageTV7 directory

There is a bug in the latest SageMC in the repository that prevents you from selecting .stvi files., but it looks like you are using an older version
