Sage TV Client Black Screen during playback after registry restore
Ghod this gets incredibly frustrating, it shouldn't have to be this complex. I've got a Win98 system with a Radeon 9000 card, DirectX9.0b and because I've also got WinDVD installed I'm using the Intervideo Codec. Yes, I've got the latest drivers for video and audio.
It was working fine so I know the hardware is capable of doing it. Then after an unrelated system crash, scanreg decided I needed an earlier version of my registry restored. Now Sage Client just gives me a black screen for video, the audio still works fine. I've reinstalled the video drivers, reinstalled WinDVD, reinstalled Sage Client at least a dozen times. Still no video. Everything is defaulted, like it was originally but I've tried every other combination I can think of also, still no video. WinDVD plays DVD's just fine and can play Sage recordings just fine, so I don't believe it's the video/audio drivers. Sage Client has simply stuck a stake through its brain and even a complete uninstall and deleting the Frey directory won't bring it back to life again. Anybody got a suggestion? |

Because I'm running RC2 as the client I'll include a copy of the debug log from a session where I start it, try to watch one recording and after 3 seconds terminate the program when all I'm getting is black screen except for the menu and the audio.
