Help - HD300 UI Freezes

Hi All,

I have been working on switching my SageTV system over to Windows 10 and SageTV v9. It's been a big project, but have completed most changes and just about finished.

However, I am receiving period (cannot recreate consistently) freezes while navigating through the UI through the HD300. Typically it is when starting to play a show, but sometimes it can occur just when scrolling through recordings. I usually get a Hang Detected in the log. Also, it usually will then clear up and I can continue, but occasionally, it hangs and I have to reboot the server (cannot kill Sage through task manager).

ANY help would be greatly appreciated, I have been fighting this for a while now.

Here are some more details:

• See few lines from log file below, also attached a full log showing 3 or 4 hangs over the course of an evening
• I have attached a full log, sage.properties
• Its a powerful server, Win 10, 64bit, 16 GB of memory
• All viewing is through HD300s (do not watch on server)
• Once a video is playing, it plays fine, no lags or delays
• I set the JVM heap to 1024mb
• I have tried removing all plug-ins, deleting wiz.bin, disabling everything I can think of and many suggestions off of the forum.
• I have 4 Hauppauge HD PVRs controlled with two USBIRTs

What is your client? Are you using default UI, or gemstone? Do you have fanart enabled?

I ran into an issue with fanart and long pauses on gemstone.

Hi Stuckless, I'm using the standard UI. The only plug-in I've been using is the Comskip Playback plug in.

Also, when I built the Sage V9, I did a clean install (did not upgrade from V7).
