What is the name of the server or IP address for trial?

I am trying out sage 6 with my hauppauge myTV.PVR for Mac.

I just downloaded it for the trial and I cant even connect to the server.
I first downloaded the regular sagetv download. The first on the list for mac downloads.
I opened it and the initialization screen was all that showed up. Nothing more and it didnt go away.

I then thought I might need the client. So removed the other installation and then installed both of them.

When I run the the client it asks me for a server name or IP address. How am I supposed to know what to write in?

Please help. I have been spending hours trying to find a software for my old Hauppauge myTV.PVR for mac. Because Hauppage foolishly wont update their software for leopard.

You need the SageTV Media Center software. The client is designed to let another computer on the same network connect to the media center software and access your Sage content. The server it's looking for is another computer on your network running SageTV Media Center.

Not sure why you had problems installing the SageTV software the first time but you were on the right track. Search the forums for install issues on Mac and worst case submit a trouble ticket.
