Post Sage7 too good to fast?

I know with the holidays my energy to tinker becomes less but I have noticed lately that I am looking at the Sage forums a little less and tweaking SageTV server / settings very little lately. Sage7 seems to work very well and appears to be really stable. Being a tinkerer I have started sub-consciously looking for new projects to work on. Am I alone in thinking that with all these new features and interfaces in Sage7 they might be slowly killing off the hobby and tinkering crowd?

What do you think sage can do to keep its core base engaged enough to stay active working with their product and try out new ideas?

I have no plans on migrating away from Sage. It works too good to want to leave and this may just be a phase of holiday disinterest for me alone but I just thought I would drop this idea out here to see others thoughts.

Yeah while I was writing the original post I was thinking it was time for me to start piddling around in Studio. Thanks for the forum link!

I'm getting too old for constant tinkering and messing with settings and what not. I just want everything to work and be pretty easy to setup and upgrade.

So I bow to our Sage Overlords for making it so tinkering and tweaking is less and less necessary!

10-15 years ago, rebuilding my PC every 6 months was, dare I say, fun.
Nowadays, not so much.

Tinkering with Sage has definitely become easier since V7 and a lot less time consuming. Now for some new hobbies, or to learn Studio
