custom views with SageMC

Questions:

1. I had customized SageMC to have a couple views for my home videos and photos.

Will I be able to use those views directly with Phoenix 3.0?

2. a. Does Phoenix 3.0 require BMT?
b. does BMT work under SageTV 9 running Java 8

* Moved out of unrelated topic *

This should be in the Phoenix 3 forum but 2 a and b are yes.

For 1 i am not sure if sagemc used phoenix views.

No, SageMC does not use phoenix views (I think it actually predates most the work in Phoenix).

Correct. It has its own "PathFilterExpr"... which provides a similar (but less powerful) ability.

And SageMC will read the central Fan Art folder (generated by Phoenix Core).

My mistake was juxtaposing Phoenix Core and Phoenix 3 (STV)
