XVID? Anyone?
Has anyone been able to use the Sage Encoder to convert using XVID? If so, what versions?
Whenever I try it, I get: VirtualDub Error Cannot open file "c": The system cannot find the path specified. I will attach the error message as well as pictures of my settings. Any help is most appreciated! |

And I'm also, interested in Xvid conversion. Is there a way to get SageEncoder to use AutoGK instead of Virtualdub?

It looks like there is encoding support built in to V5.1 so you might want to hang on for the beta before spending too much time getting this working.

wmcmd.vbs cannot be found?
Hi there, I'm having trouble with the final step in the whole encoding process.
I've installed dirmon, and this runs showanalyzer to create the Vprj files. Sage Encoder picks up on these files and runs VideoReDo to create the trimmed version of the .mpg. However, when it comes to converting it to a WMV using Windows Media Encoder, I get this error: 24/11/2006 12:07:18 AM: Encoding file... "tvshows.prx" or "wmcmd.vbs" cannot be found, cannot encode! I've checked the WME Location in the Setup: C:\Program Files\Windows Media Components\Encoder\WMCmd.vbs Any ideas? Any help would be greatly appreciated |

Invalid command passed
I installed everything as described, but when I tried it out (selecting a recording, then "encode with sage encoder", I get a screen saying "invalid command passed." Web triggers are enabled in the encoder setup.

I have no problem converting that way or with the "convert" command in the web server; it's just using the Sage Encoder through the webserver that isn't working. I was hoping to be able to be able to use the webserver to do low-bandwidth viewing remotely, and it seemed that the Encoder would do that - but maybe not...
