Any work around to get this into cayars since it wont let you import STVs?

Also,

Using the Standard STV if you have the play/pause command will not resume normal speed. Individually they work just not the combo command.

This is great though!!

v1.2 uploaded

I have uploaded v1.2

This now supports SageMC, handles the Play/Pause command correctly, and adds an Auto-Mute function to attempt to work around audio problems.

For Cayars users, as I was unable to contact Carlo, I have modified the Cayars17.STV file to re-enable imports, it can be found here. Note that you will still need to do the import, and the Enhancements page in the Detailed Setup will need to be scrolled down to see the options page!

I have installed the new Cayars17_import.stv on one of my Client machines and the import still says REMOVED and will not let me add anything.
Is this not supposed to work on a Client with Cayar's?

I set the starting speed to this after playing for a few days: 8x is a good starting speed for FF'ing though commercials or to the start of a (delayed) program, 2x is too slow, and I found myself hitting FF 3-4 times!

Anyway, it is customisable

once you have done the import, there is an extra item at the bottom of the enhancements page in detailed setup (below 'Strip Hauppauge...') -- you will have to use the arrow keys to scroll down the list to select it

I haven't checked these boards in quite some time since Cayars went MIA; what is Cayars17_import.stv and where can I get it? I seached the forums but didn't find anything.

Thanks

The answer to both questions is in this very thread. More specifically post 22(read they few post before 22 to find out why a modified version of Cayars was neccessary, if you didn't already know). Hope this helps.

Talking What a big help!!!

I have been having alot of trouble with my NVidia Card/NVidia Decoders/VMR9 - skipping forward and back. It would pause for 5 to 20 seconds before skipping, and sometimes it would not even do it at all.

I imported this mod into MCEXCON, and my troubles are gone. Regardless of the speed I FF/REW, it is smooth, fast, and trouble free.

Brilliant! Absolutely Brilliant!

Excellent work Neil!

Any chance you'd be willing to test the auto-mute feature with AC3Filter? Auto-mute works well with the nVidia audio decoder, but not with AC3Filter (at least on my system).

Neil, once again, great Job. Frey should give you an award for all of the excellent additions you have made to the product. Your work makes for a lot of smiling SageTV users. You seem to knock off all the limitations of the software 1 by 1. What are you going to think of next??????

And a BIG CHEERS to all the STV developing dudes. You all deserve a pat on the back.

I was going to get some work done, now I'll be forced to grab a beer and install it on all the clients too.

Argh...
Guess I shouldn't have said anything. I go to show my wife that it is not pausing when ff/rew, and of course it is again. Not sure what I changed if anything since I installed and it was working great a couple of days ago.

Has anyone else seen this? ff/rew causes Sage to just hang?????
