I have not tested with SageMC for nearly 2 years, so its quite possible that the current version does not work I will have a look when I have a moment, or you could post in the SageMC thread to see if anyone has any suggestions

Doesn't work for me either. Any hope for a SageMC compatibility update?

Same here. The ffwd & rrwd buttons don't do anything different...

Happy to see this plugin! Installed it, and it works great...minus one thing. I can't get the speed to bump up beyond the default start amount. So, if it's set to start at 4x, that's the fastest it'll go. I get audible response for each additional click, but no change in speed (and it stays at 4x in the corner).

I'm running the latest version of this (1.5) with the latest version of SageTV (6.1.9). Windows XP. Any thoughts?

Thanks!

Been a couple weeks, so pinging this one. Can't seem to figure out the issue in my previous post.

on my system it runs fine with 6.1.9 and the default STV... What remote command are you using to FF/REW?

Hey! Thanks for the reply!

Hm. I'm using whatever the default is for the Hauppauge 45-button remote...I haven't changed any of the remote control settings.

It works the first click, just not for successive clicks to speed it up further.

When I get home I'll look up my settings...I put a new router in and didn't apparently apply the Placeshifter port forwarding so I can't get on now.

Does this stvi work with the latest beta version of SageTV (6.2.4)?

I noticed the Sage community download link went to a placeholder page as well, but in nielm's signature you can get access to the Sageplugins Wiki at http://tools.assembla.com/sageplugins/wiki/WikiStart and download the files...hopefully someone realizes they need to update the initial post...and thanks again, nielm, I love this plugin.

it uses the normal FF/REW/Play/Pause commands that Sage handles internally, so any remote that works with Sage will work with it.

I installed it, but there is no way to get to the Settings/Detailed Setup/Enhancements. The Enhancements menu item doesn't exist.

So, I'm going to see if it works with the default settings, but the only way to get rid of it is to just revert back to the previous xml file.

Nope, doesn't work at all for me.

Is there any way to do both continuous ff/rw as well as having a separate skip forward/skip back command?

Problems with audio muting while scanning

I upgraded from 6.1.19 to 6.3.5 after a complete Windows XP reinstall.

I now have an issue where digital audio is not muted during a FF/REW operation which results in sporadic blips of audio and the receiver (connected via SPDIF) going nuts trying to decode it. Analog audio mutes properly. I am using the default STV, Sage video decoder with DXVA enabled, and AC3Filter.
The little speaker volume icon near the timeline turns red, but seems only effective with analog, not digital.

Has anyone had this problem and fixed it in the new version? It was working fine with the older 6.1.19 version. I am wondering if I have possibly found a bug?

Gary

I've seen some DVDs and HD recordings not respond to the Sage volume slider. It's probably something to do w/ the way Sage handles the stream(s).
