STV IMPORT: Multi-function Stop (v1.6 23/Oct/2006)

Just wanted to say.... I have been using this for a long time. Sage is soo much more intuitive with this plugin. Thanks alot for it.

I've been playing with this plugin. I love Nielm's work, thanks for this one too.

One question. When I hit stop and then "play from beginning", if I then stop the playback, go back to Sage Recordings, and then play again, it doesn't start from the beginning, but from where I pressed stop the first time. Is that how it's supposed to work, or have I done something wrong?

I'm using the GermSage STV and am running versino 5.0.4.92.

• make it work in v6
• Use SageTV v6's intelligent return on STOP
• Add Stop recording option to Stop popup and record options popup
• If STOP is pressed when nothing is playing and a currently recording file is highlighted, prompt to Stop Recording (see below)
• make it work in views where keyboard input is allowed (only when hidden extras is enabled)

This is how sage handles remembering the last watched position: it always keeps the 'latest' watch position.

Great feature list. Looks great! But is it ONLY for v6, and not v5? We have v5 and could upgrade for free to v6, but have avoided the beta until it is 'stable'. Backwards compatible? If not, is v1.5 the last v5 version your making?

try again until it works, ther server has problems but always recovers...

Any chance of adding a feature whereby the stop menu times out? For example, a user is watching a recorded show and hits stop. The stop menu appears. If the user does nothing after x minutes, the system returns to the main menu (or whatever).

This is a great import and I wanted a version that used the current Theme's icons for the dialog so I created one. This STVI is based on version 1.6 and the only change is that I removed the hardcoded icon images and inserted references to the theme's icons for Play, Stop, FF and REW.

This works for me and I hope Nielm does not mind my posting this.

PS: this was edited in the latest beta for 6.4

Is this Plugin still being supported if it is... I have a request can "Delete and Set Watched" be added to the choices when you hit stop?

I do use yours... but I would like to also be able to hit stop then delete the choices come up at what to do with the file... without having to go to the options menu and delete from there... right now this plugin is missing "Delete and Set Watched"

Stop only seems to work when the video is in full screen mode.

If something is recorded, pressing stop on the item wont bring up the stop menu.

I was looking forward to using 'Stop-Play' to take me back to full screen or using 'Stop playback and keep partial' without having to start playing the file first.

Any idea why it's not working?

Also, is there anyway you could add 'Stop playback and keep partial' to live TV viewing? You'd just have to turn it into a manual recording first.

Not sure if it's available in V6 but in V7 you install it via the Plug-in Manager in SageTV...
