*UPDATE*

Woohoo! I now have a server.

I placed the computer (+ 3x external firewire drives) on the top shelf in my wardrobe. I also installed a 120mm fan in the ceiling. The fan came with blue LED's in it which makes the inside of the wardrobe look like blackpool illuminations inside along with the lights from the PC and drives!!

Anyway - all works OK, the temps in the wardrobe are totally fine. It seems the 120mm fan does a sterling job of removing the heat.

Chears for the assistance guys (and for not letting me put my computer outside - Doh )
