Currently SageTV Lite is only available with the TV100U but there's more on the way and it will eventually be a retail product towards the final release of V3.

Thanks for the info Dan. But this brings up another question. Will my SageRecorder that works with V2 also work with V3?

Have you moved your pre-existing property files? (save them though) Do that then see if it is available. That or perhaps editing the property file to have it display properly. Check the manual.

Dan, there has been some confusion on SaqeTV Lite. Does it support Audio playback of CDs?, and does is provide the ability to burn DVDs from w/i SageTV Lite?

Cheers and Thanks for Beta.

So _that's_ why my FM Radio input has been getting muted every so often! I just never realized it was connected to restarting SageTV. So, yes... that seems to be a beta issue, since I don't recall having that problem in the past.

I'm pretty sure Sage TV Lite is strictly nothing more than a PVR. It's not a Media Center. It has a 3 day EPG, no favorites or search. Just a bare bones PVR but it's not a trial. It's incentive to upgrade to the full version.

Don't you hate it when you press enter to early..

Sorry, I should have said from the announcement of SageTV Lite, it seems that the upgrade to the full version of Media Center includes features such as Audio CD Playback (perhaps?) and DVD burning (perhaps?) from within Native Sage.

Keep in mind that not everything that might have been announced for v3 has made it into the product yet.

Your bug submission form doesn't have 3.0.5 listed... only 3.0.3. Might want to update that.

Can anyone confirm a resolution with the FF/RW bug associated with quartz.dll?

Also, was the "Sage reverts to windowed mode after reboot" bug fixed?

Do you know the steps to reproduce this? - The FF/RW bug.

I noticed an installation bug that when you install it, it asks if you want to view the 2.2 manual. Not a critical issue but seems that the manual has been updated as well and it should ask if you want to view the new docs.

For me it happens about every other time I FFW or RW. My symptoms are a sort of double-vision thing. And usually a quick RW/FFW combo will "fix" it.

I still get the FF/RW bug. Unfortuantely I can't replace the Quartz.dll file or Windows MCE application won't work anymore (it says it's missing files). The jittery video is quite annoying and my wife hates it when I have to ff and rw three or four times to make it stop. I really hoped this would be fixed in v3.

I'm using the 72.14 Nvidia drivers with the 1.02-150 Nvidia PureVideo decoder beta (the same issue occurs with the release version of the Nvidia decoder).

--Update - I tried replacing the DX9c Quartz.dll file with DX9b and now Sage won't work. If I copy the DX9c file back in place, it works fine.

Background:
I installed the new drivers and decoder the night before the beta was released. I'm not sure if installing the new drivers, the new decoder, or beta 3 replaced my DX9b Quartz.dll file with the DX9c version, but one of them did. For some reason I cannot run Sage (I get a rendering error when viewing video) if I use the DX9b Quartz.dll.

Quick question - is it now possible to specify a time that Sage will pull for new EPG data? I know that this used to not be available.... haven't really followed up on it for a while - it would be nice to have a "Poll now" button for it

That is still covered by this FAQ.

It wasn't SageTV. Our installer does not include Quartz.dll.

Just installed a fresh copy of 3.05 last night. I noticed playback problems of live recordings after 2 or 3 minutes intro every recording. The playback would just stops or freezes for a while and then jumps back to the beginning of the recording. I'm not sure if its a playback problem or the actual recording is freezing. I'm using it with the PVR-350 with TV-Out so it could have something to do with it. But I scheduled a bunch of random recordings overnight just to test it. Will review it later tonight. Other than that, I haven't noticed any other problems with this beta.

Just curious, once a while, I see a little SageTV logo pop up in the middle of the screen. Is this a "loading... please wait" hour glass type of thing?
