I guess that leads us back to a "fresh install" problem- unless there are any other suggestions. Seems like Sage is not finding the right decoder- which seems weird. I would still un-install or at least close down other schedulers like WinTV- just to eliminate another possible cause of the problem. Also- if you are getting a black screen- can you check if you have accidently enabled some kind of video-out device/full screen device or something like that.....maybe your video card with TV-out etc (But that is assuming there is some audio output). Still one of the things worth checking before going in for a fresh install.
