My posted Girder logic hasn't changed...yet
There are still a couple of things I'd like to do with it though. For example, during the Startup portion of the Girder logic I would like to display a full screen image with a 'One Moment Please...' message while myHTPC and SageTV are started and placed into there proper startup states. Once myHTPC is started and SageTV is started and in the system tray, Girder would take down the full screen image and bring myHTPC to the foreground. Someone at myhtpc.net described a method of doing this with a program called irfanview to display an always-on-top full screen image. This would hide the initial SageTV splash screen as well as other screen activity that happens while the HTPC is starting up. This same technique to display a 'One Mement Please...' message could be used to hide 'behind-the-scenes' activity when you use Girder to launch other programs as well.
I should also mention, there is a 15 sec. delay inserted into the 'Automation/Startup/Startup commands' multigroup. This could be removed. I just remembered I copied this logic from my other system where I was running PowerStrip. I used the 15 sec. delay to wait for PowerStrip to start and to wait for the nagware countdown on the PowerStrip splash screen and then I used Girder to click the OK button to get it off the screen. Since I don't use PowerStrip on my EPIA, I removed the PowerStip logic but forgot to remove the delay.
