There were a few changes in 6.3.5 that broke a couple of imports in the Mediaplayer OSD area. It's a link that's ending up in the wrong place now. I could probably knock up a fix for it assuming Jim has no objections and seeing as he's going to be V5ing until Q2.

I just installed this as well, great addon!

Question: When browsing I press the Right arrow and goes to the next time slot. However pressing the down arrow it goes back to the previous time slot instead of paging down the "new" timeslot. Is there anyway to page through the channels/shows in a future time slot?

It's not fully working with my setup (6.3.5): I can scroll up and down among all channels and left & right thru the timeslots ... so far so good.

However as soon as I enter the channel number and press OK I'm loosing all navigation functionalities, miniguide is stuck on that channel and I can only browse thru its timeslots, cannot change channel either using the arrows or the channel number.

Anyone experiencing the same issue?

I can confirm upon numerical channel entry up and down arrows no longer work. Left and right did for me. Upon second channel entry, channel numbers no longer show and the channel doesn't change. Had to back out of screen and back in to gain control again.

I'm not seeing that problem.

What other imports do you have loaded?

miniguide_plugin.stvi v096b

Had no other miniguide plugin installed so it's a fresh config.

EDIT: Other plugins installed: video edit 0.2.9 , favorite channels 1.1.4, Nielm's webserver don't remember the version. I see Gerry is running Favorites 1.1.4 as well, I bet that's it.

Mini-guide 096b (first), Comskip 1.5.1, Channel favorites 1.1.4, Dynamic Menu 6.4, rssnews 4.1, and webpageviewer. Also stanger's IVL 0.09 DVD Profiler plugin. All are the latest. Made sure df_sageutils is the latest available.

After futher testing for me it appears that the Channel Favorites plugin is interfering with the miniguide. I couldn't replicate the problem with the other plugins being loaded and making sure miniguide is loaded first.

The Channel Favorites will actually work with the miniguide so that I can cycle through my channel favorites I defined with the miniguide. One definition I made was all the HD stations. So with the miniguide being set for use with the arrows I can have the miniguide up and hit the guide button to cycle to the HD Channels favorites or any other. Not sure why after a channel entry up and down arrow stops working. Left and right continue. Channel entry stops working also.

Gerry

Reading Bob's documentation this is probably why we're having issues. So right now it's probably run one or the other.

The current version is 0.9 and the zip archive contains further screen shots in some documentation I put into a PDF - so you will need a acrobat reader to read it. Version 0.9 also adds the ability to store the lists on the server, use the Guide SageTV command to cycle through your lists and to type a number to go directly to that channel in the Favorite Channel Lists menu similar to how the EPG menu works.

So for me the problem is doing a second channel entry with the miniguide. First channel entry is fine. Second one, no matter if it is done on screen or after reappearing breaks. You know it's broken because the channel icon and channel display disappears. I can "reset" it by going to the program guide and then watching the video. I bring up the miniguide and it works again-for the one time. Reading further into Bob's documentation he has worked with the miniguide plugin to make his channel favorites as compatible with it as much as possible.

Also until JREkiwi updated it for version 6 Sage I couldn't test this because I no longer use version 5. I will try to update the Favorite Channel plugin to be more compatible with this plugin but it will be a while - maybe a month - sorry!

That's OK Bob. Appreciate all the work you do on your great plugins.

I have not looked yet but I think I will have to create two version of the FCL plugin for the default STV. One that has the parental control logic but is NOT compatible with this plugin and one that has all of the parental control logic removed. Then I will only have to change the GUIDE listener code in the MediaPlayer screen and therefore shouldn't conflict with this plugin. Now if SageTV would just add parental control logic on a channel by channel basis in the core code I would remove my hack (my parental control logic) and that should make it compatible with the mini guide as well.

Anyone else having problems getting the modded version of MiniGuide 0.96 to work on SageTV 6.3.6? Specifically along with the latest comskip stvi. I've installed the miniguide first then Comskip 1.5.1 ... The left right arrows work for comskip, but they don't bring up the miniguide. I've tried switching the miniguide option to use the guide button, but that doesn't work either.

Any help would be appreciated.
