What other plugins do you have installed? Make sure you didn't reinstall in an STV that already had it. I installed mini-guide and then comskip and it works fine for me. With either the arrows or the guide button bringing up the mini-guide.

If you have the L/R arrows configured for comskip, they won't work to get the miniguide up, but will work when the miniguide is up. Up/Down will work though to get the miniguide up.

Hey, anyone know if this plug-in is still working in 6.4.3 beta, and through HD Extenders?

I have a request for this plug-in:

How difficult would it be to add the “disable OSD autohide” function to the miniguide?

In other words, make it where, instead of timing-out, you could choose (in setup?) to have the miniguide stay on screen until you hit “guide” a second time.

Perhaps the code for this function could be “borrowed” from the “Disable OSD Autohide” plug-in? Or perhaps it’s not even that hard to do?

I seem to run into the same issues that caused the creation of the “autohide” plug-in… that is, when I open the miniguide and scroll to another station listing, it times out before I can read the whole show description and decide whether I want to switch to that channel or not (or, more specifically, have the obligatory discussion with my wife about whether she is okay with watching something else….)

I'll look into this when I finish my v6.x upgrade.. which I've been threating to do for months now. But I'm moved and have new cable and bought a HRHD. So I want to hook that all in and now I don't have my ATSC antenna anymore either so I'll be extra motivated to upgrade!!!

No promises on a time frame! I'm going to have to relearn all I did! :-)

I'm not sure if the author is still around, but I don't believe this plugin has ever been posted in the Sage Downloads area. I assume I'm not the only one who has ever looked for a miniguide for the default STV and I'm probably not the only person who gave up trying after not finding it in the downloads area.

I wonder if the author or maybe a moderator could add it to the downloads area?
