Thanks, appreciate you looking into this when you have some time. If this worked in SageMC, I'd probably use that. Just can't seem to make up my mind which one to stick with.

bobrap,

I had a look at GermSage, it added a new options dialog for selecting a video file from the library, and thats why the code in my import to seek to the stored time does not get executed. It's easy enough, I will modify my plugin to add the corresponding code if GermSage is present.

For now, my plugin already works if you don't start the video by bringing up the options dialog and selecting "Watch Now", but instead by directly pressing "Play" when the video is selected in the library...

Any chance to get this to work with SageMC? Just thought I'd ask.

A new version (0.3) which adds support for SageMC is available at the download link.

If sagemc does not like the .xml extension, try renaming the extension to .stv

Hi Zeltka,

if it only shows stv files to import you are probably not running the lastest SageMC build. You can download it here.
Although importing my plugin into the old version would work by renaming it to stv, I didnt test it and I would strongly recommend to update to the latest SageMC dev build anyway

Will this work in conjunction with the SageMC_Addon you created? I installed both, but only the addon seems to be working. I noticed they both try to install df_sageutils.jar, but each has a different date.

Yes, they both should work together. You are right, I forgot to update the utils library in my other plugins when I uploaded the SageMC addon (will do this right away), but the play position plugin works fine with the new JAR file, so for now just make sure you have the latest JAR file in place ...

Thanks for the heads up,

Dirk

I used the newest jar file and restarted Sage and now it remembers the stop times. Thanks for the great plugin

I have Germsage installed and use the workaround previously mentioned in this thread but was wondering if a fix is possible or not worth the trouble.

Awesome import by the way.

This is why SAGETV is the !!!BEST!!!. A company that allows this level of customization and people like you that take the time to utilize it.

Hi dvd_maniac,

I completely forgot about this while being busy with working on SageMC ...
I'll try to fix this is as soon as I can find some spare time.

Although, I noticed that you are trying out SageMC, so maybe I should better not ... Nah, just kiddin' ...

I would love to keep SageMC because of all the great features. The only problem with it seems to be navigation. Sometimes you just have to press the menu button to get out of something and it drives my wife batty.
But I am testing it out and we'll see.
