Has anyone gotten this plugin to work with the latest version 6.1.9 and with the NVidia DualTV tuner card? I got it to work in an older version with the Hauppauge WinTV 500 but I've never gotten it to work with the DualTV tuner.

Any thoughts / suggestions.

I installed the internet radio plugin but it's very difficult to get any stations in the Los Angeles area to work because of how they stream over the internet so I would like to try this plugin again.

Thanks,
Mike

Would any body have any ideas as to why this would
a.) Cause the Client to crash after about 3 minutes
b.) The Server and or Client starts ok and then becomes very choppy / hicupping. I could understand that the client might be a network / buffering thing, but the Server (which has the PVR250 card attached to it)?

Is this being updated for version 6.x?

When I load this it replaces my Online Services option on the Main Menu. Has anybody had this problem?

No - But I use the Dynamic Menu plug in so I have full control. The problem I find is it only seems to work with the Hauppauge and doesn't seem to work with the NVidia tuners.

I'm trying to get this plugin to work in 6.2.10. Has anyone had any success with this? I debugged the plugin in Studio and the issue seems to lie with the WatchLive() and ChanneSet() functions.

WatchLive() seems to work (partially) since the mpgbuf file gets created. However no playback occurs within SageTV. GetCurrentMediaFile() returns null so the Sage Media Player does not think anything is happening. However if I playback the mpgbuf file inside Windows Media Player I can hear the radio station playing so obviously WatchLive did initiate the capture device correctly. However the Sage Media Player somehow refuses to playback the file.

Also ChannelSet() does not appear to work since when I tune to a different channel in the FM Plugin then playback the mpgbuf file in Windows Media Player I hear the original FM channel that was playing, not the new one tuned to.

If anyone can shed any light on this it would be most appreciated. I'm willing to do the legwork to modify the code but need some pointers as to why WatchLive() and ChannelSet() do not appear to work.

You can download the original plugin form the first post and open it in Studio to see how the WatchLive() and ChannelSet() functions are being used.

Cheers
Lester

got the latest sage package and this plugin works great, must be something with your setup. It plays fine on the server, my sage client and MVP boxes

Sorry I wish I can help you out further.

Strange...I've got a pretty standard setup and it's been working fine with the FM radio until now (worked on v5 of Sage, never tried it on 6.1.9 and now it doesn't work on 6.2.10).

Which PVR card are you using for your FM tuner? I have an FM tuner on my Hauppauge PVR500 and my Powercolor 550 card. Both give me the same results. Just curious as to whether you're using one of the same model cards as me or a different PVR card that also has an FM tuner

I use my Power color 550 card for my fm tuner and works great, so there has to be something that changed.

but what ?

Ok, problem resolved. I went into my SageClient.properties file and deleted all of the FM Radio properties. After I restarted Sage the FM Radio app worked perfectly.

Thanks for trying to help.

I got this plugin to work fine under SageTV 6.0.13.1. I do not know if it is still maintained, but if it is, any chance to get more presets than the amount that is available? I happen to get dozens of radio stations where I live, but cannot store them all as presets - which wouldn't be that bad if entering a frequency directly wouldn't be such a pain.
Still, I really like this plugin a lot and use it with my Hauppauge HVR-1800 on XP 64bit.

This Works great with the AverMedia UltraTV 1500 MCE. Go to Avermedia.com for the latest driver. Note that there are two different cards, one does not have a composite (RCA) video jack (only S-Video).

Does this plugin work on MVP?

and if so how is it working?

The internet radio plugins are having to do nasty stuff with spare TV tuner cards and wires (the so-called netflix hack).

So interested to know how this works.

Seeing the last update to this plugin was 2006 I doubt it. A lot of people have moved on the digital HD tuners also.
