src666: that was because you started with a completely different wiz.bin file & the airings all had different internal IDs that will not match to the same recordings for a different wiz.bin. (I'm talking about an internal database airing ID, not the Zap2It-assigned ShowID.) ToxMox is talking about using a slightly earlier version of the same wiz.bin, where the IDs will match.

I'll repeat: wiz.bin corruptions should not occur frequently, if at all. If you get a corrupted file, save it for SageTV to check out for possible fixes to handle whatever problem occurred. Just like any important data on your PC, though, backups are a good idea for ease of restoration if somethig does go wrong.

Thanks for the clarification on how that system works.

I'm wondering if the OP is assuming that he needs a tuner to watch sage, even for recorded TV. That might explain the high tuner count.

Andy.

Just found this thread... any updates? Has the release of the HD media extenders changed your initial plans?

the OP disappeared sometime in 2007. I think there are only two possible conclusions to be drawn from this. Either, he went (more?) insane in the build process and did himself in, or he completed the build, and started watching that much television, thus driving himself to the same result. Either way, I'm betting this behemoth never really existed.
