well, thanks to everyone's help here I was successfully able to add the movie theater button in the My Movies page--through Studio! Great lesson and now I'm more confident in adding and moving things around. But--I am getting this error when trying to run the mtsa app: The Application Failed to Initialize Properly" xc0000135. Looking back through the posts it seems this is a .net problem? possibly i dont' have it installed? I really thought I did though. I can check tonight. Is there any other reason why I would be getting this error? Also, I noticed that when I remove the preloaded zipcode and add others in through the sage UI--it doesn't seem to stick. when i back out and reload the listings--it still gives me the same 'default' list of theaters in that zipcode. Do i have to exit out of sage completely?

Thanks,
JUC

Aperry, thanks so much for this update. Everything appears to be seamless now when playing trailers back; even with sageTV set to background/always!

Sooooo.....

I'm releasing version 0.56 beta. The only reason you would need this version is if, like mkanet, you need playback to stop when you play a trailer. If things are working okay for you, then you don't need to bother.

Enjoy, and mkanet, let me know if you still have any problems.

P.S. Morgan111 - Nice work on getting a SageMC version going.

I am using what Flachbar posted here. http://forums.sagetv.com/forums/show...&postcount=240
And it Works like a charm.

Great plugin btw. I am using Morgans MC version.

Miller

Now if I can just get up the nerve to use Studio to edit the "n/a" title in the "My Menu" page. Or is that in the menu.xml?

Mplayer seems to be the most popular. Instruction on how to get it to work are included. It's really no big deal if you follow the instructions.

However, if you want more control; I'd recommend Zoomplayer. I currently have it working with zoomplayer. I just point to the Zoom player executable:

C:\Program Files\Zoom Player\zplayer.exe

the only command parameter I use is:
/F

I have my remote control (using girder) control Zoom PLayer to fastforward / Rewind / STOP / PAUSE / windowed mode or full screen (full screen is the default).

Yep, you can change this in menu.xml ...
In the next SageMC version you will also be able to change this via the options page ...

This may sound like a dumb question..

But what's the purpose of changing the order of the movie theaters in the theather configuration menu if it doesn't list the theaters in that order when listing the theaters?

Instructions?

I hope I'm not just blind, but I can't find any installation instructions in the download zip file.

The file I downloaded "aperry-movietimes-stv-import-v056-beta.zip" has two zips. MovieTimes-stvi.zip and mtsa.zip

I'm using the built-in Zip support in Windows XP.

Thanks,
Rick...

It wouldn't hurt to try installing .NET again. Though, if you have a folder called C:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v1.1.4322 (or v2.0.50727), it should be installed.

They are supposed to show in the order you've defined. I'm pretty it did at one point.

I'll look into it and see what's going on...

Yeah, sorry about that, it was missing. I added the PDF to the ZIP, so try downloading it again...

The instructions are a little bit out of date, missing any information about trailers for instance, but they should still work for you.

Rick,

Are you saying that you get the first menu and can select the CONFIG option (as opposed to config.xml). If so, does it just not respond?

What STV file did you start will and what all have you imported?

I am using the base SageMC_169_5_10. No other imports. After I imported your MovieTimes...xml I was able to select the CONFIG.XML. But nothing happen after that.

Then I restarted Sage and everything started working. In case it makes any difference I'm configuring this for an MVP

I just noticed that the text for the movie description is overlapped. I think this may have happened after I installed the latest update. Please see the attached picture.

Actually, I liked it when I saw that post too and found it on the SageMC16x9 Wiki page under Themes. That is the Image_Razor theme that is at the bottom of the Theme page

Yep, that's it. It's about a 10 minute process to do one yourself, if you can find an MP one that you like.
