I don't have a client to set this up on, but have you just tried to get it to work on your server? Or are you running headless, so to speak?

I assume it has something to do with trying to use it via a client, but I would think you could get it to work.

Maybe you could use UNC paths to keep all the files on the server, instead of on the client?

Yep, headless! I will try to make it work on the server and see what happens.

Tried that, but its still screwing up. When I use the client to setup the config.xml file, its viewing it on the server's hard drive, and not locally. I suppose I could try and set it up on a remote mounted drive so that I can get the same drive letter on both server and client. Maybe tonight I can mess with it some more.

I finally added this import to my SageMC setup this weekend. Works great! Even though my Media Extender.

One thing I did notice is that the "Disable UI Animations" doesn't hold for the Title Animations on the Movie Menus. Dirk how tough/easy is this to fix?

The wife's response when I mentioned the new feature was "No Way, that is sweet!" so now if I can make the screen loads a bit faaster it will be even better.

Thanks!

I assume he was talking about the SageMC import, but could be wrong. But, if so, could you use the most recent one, I believe posted by Flachbar, that has the popup menu when you want to see showtimes? That feature is cool!

Excellent Thank You!

And I don't understand why there are people not using MC still either The WAF (and just as important ILAF) are through the roof with MC, especially with this plugin.

Question for you guys that have this working, since I havent gotten that far.. Are the trailers downloaded HD quicktime files, or just SD? I did set mine to get "high" quality, but not sure exactly what that means.

Exclamation NEW! MovieTimes STV Import for SageMC v0.57

OK. I finally have made some cleanups and packaged it into a re-importable import. Also fixes showtimes not displaying when selected from list for specific theater. It also contains the full installation package that aperry has put together. The difference is that it has the SageMC import file instead of the standard SageTV STVI import file.

The download page is located at

Awesome.

Might be a good idea to create a separate support thread too ...

I was thinking about that, but figured all of the things that cause everyone trouble is in the MTSA configuration and setup which is covered in this thread. I 'll go ahead and start one since there are still quite a bit of posts talking about the SageMC.

Thanks Morgan. It's nice to have that all in one package now.

Trailers

Just wondering but it seems as though there aren't many trailers out there...

I mean with all the movies available I only end up with about 4 trailers out of 20 movies....

Does this seem right??

Also, I though that it said that the small TV image (that plays in lower left corner when in other screens) was fixed??

I am running the newest version of Movietimes and Sage 5 (waiting for the MC interface as seeing the old 'naked' Sage screens was scary)..I will do w/o the new options until MC catches up (and Sage v6 is officially released).

That is, if we ever agree on a version numbering system....

JD

About the preview window problem, is that under the SageMC version of MovieTimes or the standard Sage STV? I see it fine for me, but I will look into it if you are seeing that with the new SageMC MovieTimes import.

Ah, what version of MTSA are you using? There was a new and improved version posted a while back, and it found a LOT more trailers than the original...

I've posted the version I'm using, just in case.

Edit, by the way, I believe all you have to do is replace the exe file with this one, and run it again, and you re set.

Edit2, well, looks like it's the same file in Morgans download, just a different date. The file size is the same...not sure it matters. But if you downloaded the one before Morgans, then this one might be newer.

I found the MTSA site and found that there was a 4.1.3 version. That did not provide any additional trailers (but it did clean up a few unused media files). I sent an email to the MTSA developer about the problem. Hopefully we will hear something back soon.

Sure would be nice if we could somehow automate the system to grab HD trailers from Apple's site..

Yeah, I'll swap out the MTSA file... I thought I had newest as I downloaded off their website but if I remember it was dated June 06....

Also, I am running latest version of MC.. I'll also check and make sure new install of Movietimes went well...

Thanks,
JD
