Is that the MovieTimes version in the downloads area? If not, please tell me where to get the most current version. When I tried to install this program a few months ago it froze up while trying to download the theater names and I gave up. I would really like to get this working.

EDIT: PROBLEM RESOLVED: I had to add <TrailerDownload>True</TrailerDownload>. That was pretty easy to miss in the previous posts. I really wish Morgan didnt abandon all his work here. Maybe someone will take over updating the STVi to include all the new settings; maybe with even fan art support.

Thanks for replying. See attached log file. I am getting the tmp files; but then they disappear.

Posters are downloading just fine. Nothing has changed in my configuration... at least nothing I know about.

Just for kicks, I used Movietimes configuration settings. I noticed that the location for mtsa.exe was missing and the poster quality option that I've been using for years, 1080p was not available.. so I changed it to "High".

Saving both changes to my config file; then running MTSA.exe caused the temp files to show files like, AppleTrailers-G.I. Joe The Rise of Cobra-Index.tmp..but then they quickly disappear and nothing still in my Trailers folder. I have also included the new log file with trailer quality set to High instead of 1080p.

Any indications in the log file?

Is anyone else having a problem with the theater list not downloading?

For some reason, the theaters were removed from my locations.xml file during an update, and I cannot get them to re-populate from within sage, or by externally running mtsa /u.

A little more info on this, it seems that if I choose a location in Germany the theaters are updated without any problems, but in the US it does not work for me.

I looked at the source code, and it appears to be using yahoo to scrape for the US.

I tried testing different countries thinking that maybe the countries that were using the yahoo scrapes would fail, but not all did. The UK, US, and Australia (all using Yahoo scrapes) did not return any theaters for me. However Spain, which also uses Yahoo did return theaters.

As I mentioned, Germany returned theaters for me. It uses an MSN scraper, so I tried France which also uses MSN but it did return anything either.

So I don't know, at first I wanted to say that the Yahoo scraper was broken, but it looks like it is working in some cases - although, I am using a newer version than the source code that I have, so maybe the countries that are working no longer use the yahoo scraper in the version that I am using.

Can anyone else verify that the US theaters are not being returned?

I just monitored the connections with Wireshark, and it appears that the source code I have is outdated. The US and UK both use Google to pull their movie times, and both are not returning theaters. I was able to capture the exact Google URL, and I could browse to it, but maybe the page layout changed.

For those interested:
France and Germany use local sites, Germany uses kino.de, France's site is not working.
Australia and Spain use yahoo, both are not working.

It would still be nice to hear if anyone else is having problems with the US theaters.

Can you tell me what version you are using? I've tried a couple different versions, but the latest that was working for me was 4.8.1.25433. I tried going to http://nephilim.gofreeserve.com/word...es-stand-alone to see if there was a later version, but the link to the zip file is not working.

Wow! What a PITA, I finally found the latest version after searching through the SageMC MovieTimes thread. For as many times as the download link is broken, it would be nice if the updates were hosted here, and the 1st thread was updated.

For those interested, the version that finally fixed my problem was 4.88, which is offered here:

Can anyone get Movie Times to play back the trailers on either a HD-200 or HD-300? Because I cannot. I do have it working perfectly on my PC.
