I wonder how long it'll be til it's rolled out. In the next 2 months I'll be moving into the new house and looks like I'm going to have some WAF issues right off the bat. Guess she'll have to keep her TiVo sub til things get ironed out w/ the MVP et al. So far I'm rock solid (knock on wood) w/ my current setup, but that doesn't involve any extenders yet.

I just sent back a PVR 500 to Hauppauge to be replaced...If I can get that working, then I will have 3 tuners, including my PVR 150. Actually 4, if you count the S-video feed coming from the Cable set top box through my PVR 150.
I have an MVP in my daughter's room and am waiting to get the PVR 500 working before installing the MVP in the bedroom. Then I can rip out cable from everywhere except by Cable set top box in the family room. Hopefully then I'll be "rock solid", also... Then I will just need more disk space. I'l looking at adding an internal 500GB drive, plus I have about 10 USB 2 ports, where I can add HD's. My daughter records all her favorite series and has me each day editing out commericials and saving them to a directory for each favorite series. Gary |
