Mike is right... We do not want them to focus on low quality streaming. The whole point of Sage is high quality video. Having said that I am streaming a great quality video over a 11G wireless network without any problems. With a 384kps speed you can not stream any video that is worth watching.

since last june(2003) i was using snapstream3.0
in july i built a pvr only system for it.
ten nothing but problems with it. seemed to me that the developers probably had the same system as me. since all worked fine.
but like i said once i went to build my pvr box
biostar mobo athlon 1300+
256mb pc2700
100gig wd drive
ati 7500
nothing but problems. even with their new release 3.1
then i became a beta tester for them for 3.2.
nothing but problems. snapstreams discussion boards read more like "how do you get this thing to work like it is supposed to"

i then went out and bought my haupaugge pvr 250.
came across a program called SageTv.
downloaded the trial.
set it up.
had a few minor install problems. nothing more than a day of waiting or finding the answer here onine .
the quality, ease of operation, professional looking and acting software.
is in no way in the same ballpark as snapstream.
Snapstream is an easy way for people to enter into the pvr world due to the software decoder compatibiltiy.
but once you know that there is a better way to enjoy "bug free" operation.
youll move to sagetv like me.
im a windows user like many of you.
ive played with linux for years because you knew if you learned how to get your system configured to your likeing ... it behaved exactly like you wanted it to.
but, it took alot of work.
so, back to microsoft .(microsoft always has released their software, every version filled with bugs. and the consumers were the ones to put up with them and wait til microsoft released patches. that is how i felt Snapstream operated. make a program that in theory should work, but let the consumers live with the problems until we figure out how to fix them.)
i feel like SageTv has released a great application.
So if you are even trying to compare SageTV to snapstream.
i think your comparing a Yugo(remember those cars?) to a Ferrari.

what i like about SageTv ...it .

I really hope you meant to exchange that comparison, otherwise it seems as if Yugo=Sage and SnapStream=Ferrari
