Using 5.0 on 4.0

I just tried and am successfully using Placeshifter 5.0 on my Sagtv 4.0 system. I hate to upgrade everything since it is running so well.

My question is, am I gaining anything (improvements) by running Placeshifter 5.0 thru my 4.0 system? It seems better, but until I am on the road I cannot tell for sure. The 4.0 Placeshifter would seem to pixilize over the internet connection on the road.
