Unfortunately has nothing to do with uptime. Mine has been very very good for the past month though. Not sure I even heard one. The only thing that has changed was probably a reboot not too long ago.

I have no idea!

FYI: I haven't heard a peep or a beep from v6.1.3RC since I have been using it (~1.5 weeks).

Since this thread has died down should I think the issue is fixed?

I usually don't upgrade for no reason...

Having an MVP in the bedroom with the occasional BLEEEAP!

Sux!!!

Otherwise this thing rocks!!!

I've got WAF going down the drain with my MVP for this stupid bleep. This thread has gone dead. Now that it's been recorded, what's the fix???

since I've moved to the digital port I don't get any more bleeps. only blips of audio silence where I assume the bleeps would be. still annoying, but silence is preferred.

Come to think of it, I haven't heard any blips since going to 6.1.

Try support?

I've gotten it on 6.1, not very often but enough to be noticed. I can think of 2 times in the past month.

In my case, since upgrading to 6.1 when it came out, I *think* I heard one bleep and it was a mild one.

For now, I consider this bug to be fixed, though It seems to rear its ugly head every few versions.

It also helps that I power down my MVP when not in use..

The only time my MVPs get powered down is when the power to the house fails. No bleeps for me in months and months..... (crossing fingers.)

No posts here for ~ 2 months. Does that mean it's....fixed?

I haven't heard one in months myself.

not since i went to the coax 5.1 output. now I just get silence randomly for about 1/4 sec instead of the 'BLEEP's. i know I posted this before, but hey, it bumps my post count up by one.

My MVPs are on 24x7 and I can't remember the last time I heard a bleep..... Hopefully this is fixed; now so we can all look forward to hearing the bleep on the HD extender
