I read the manual... I still do not know how to create the ir file that I need to put in the C:\Program Files (x86)\SageTV\Common\RemoteCodes\Hauppauge IR Blaster folder???

it should be installed automatically from the Hauppauge discs. I'm not sure if the IR blaster software is in the download packages, but it's definintely on the discs that come with each tuner. If it's properly installed, there will be a link in the windows start menu called IR Config (or thereof). If you don't see that, then it's likely you haven't installed the app. Then, you open it and enter your satellite brand, cable box, whatever

I have the program installed. I configured it to work with my STB...
I just do not have the ir file in the common\RemoteCodes\Hauppauge IR Blaster folder with the codes...

So you use the Hauppauge Blaster but do not have an ir file in the folder?

I have the StubDevice.ir file in both my C:\Program Files (x86)\SageTV\Common\RemoteCodes directory as well as the C:\Program Files (x86)\SageTV\Common\RemoteCodes\Hauppauge IR Blaster directory. I am sure one of the locations is not needed but I am not messing with success!
You also need the correctly configured irremote.ini file in your C:\Windows directory for the blaster to control the STB properly. SageTV will overwrite the irremote.ini file if you install a new version of SageTV so make sure you make a backup of the working irremote.ini file that you can put back after the install.
