No, I don't really know how to do that. I just know the Free Software advocates can get very upset when their license isn't followed (and rightly so). I figured as a SageTV "sympathizer" I'd double check their compliance so if there is a problem, we could hopefully get it straightened out before others got wind of it and it became a PR issue.

Any update on the 6.1 beta release??? Most of my content that I playback on my Sagetv is H264... hopefully this would address some slow performance im getting compared to using mplayer classic or WMP (even some videos wont play audio on sage, using suppostly the same audio filter, AC3Filter, connected via SPDIF to my hometeather with bit perfect output)

I've been told by the Sage team a couple of week ago that 6.1 beta is coming "very soon". Just what that means, I dunno

I just saw a post by Narflex in another thread dated Feb 3 in which he said a 6.1 RC would be out "next week." Narflex tends to know what he is talking about in these matters ..

Few people can be anticipating the arrival of 6.1 Beta more eagerly than I am because it is expected to include support for my new tuner; but I don't want it before it is ready. Let the team clean up the problems they know about before they release it. I have installed most of the betas Sage have offered since 1.4 and I have never had to remove one. Thus far, it has been a one way street (with very few potholes) and I hope that will continue.
