Using Keystroke API call...how do you send non-printable chars?

I almost mentioned the manual, but decided that the list of commands in the UI is a better source because SageCommand() expects to see the text exactly as shown in the UI's list. Example: the UI displays "Skip Fwd/Page Right", while the manual lists that dual command as "Skip Fwd & Page Right". The UI's text with the "/" is what you will need to use for a dual command like this.

Thanks GKusnick...found 'em. That helps a lot, and it looks like those will all do what I need.

Opus, I was assuming the DetailedSetup->Commands->etc was in studio? But I expand the tree under Detailed Setup, and there was no Commands listed, so I couldn't see what you were talking about.

Even though I won't need to use the Keypress API call now, I want to make sure it is working like it's supposed to. Does it actually work with things like "Down", or was that now how it was meant to be used?

No, he's talking about the Detailed Setup screen in Sage itself. When you map a keystroke or remote code, you choose from a list of available commands to link to.

And yes, it works with Down (or any other command in that list). That's how the down-arrow keystroke is implemented, by mapping to the Down command in that list.

No, I mean the SageTV UI where commands are linked to keystrokes or IR codes.

(Edited) You mean the Keystroke() API call or SageCommand()? If Keystroke(): I don't use the call that way, so you should probably send a note to SageTV to get clarification, or else you'll be getting my translation of what someone else says.
