I agree that the steps are not that big to set SageTv up compared to others... BUT when you have an issue then it all doesn’t matter, after two days and a 2am stint it starts to becomes the worst software ever invented.
I must have done 10 install attempts today. Nick at Silicondust reports that they had a bug in beta1 and beta2 should be out tonight.... Sage just dropped me an email responding to my last bug report that the issue should be fixed in a beta update should also be out tonight Dec3rd. As my youngest says 'Dad, Just smile and wave! Smile and wave.... where have I heard that recently... Kevin My oldest is looking over my shoulder and told me to send you all a big Maybe I should do a dance. My wife is in NY working and currently has a glass of wine in her hand watching the tree lighting, while I mess with the PVR and get the kids bathed and off to bed. I was given a new dshowcapture.dll by Qian earlier... It has brought back some of my channels, but there is still something going on.
I have my hopes up though |

fix for multiple HVR-2250 tuners on Vista

Here is a fix http://download.sage.tv/users/qian/6...howCapture.dll it's not included in the beta 6.5.3. It will be in 6.5.4 or later.
