Looks like it has to be streamed through their own player so I don't think it would work. Not positive though - we'll see if anyone else has any ideas.

Nope, SageTV doesn't currently do any type of streaming audio/video.

Has this changed?
Has the answer to this changed with all of the recent threads around PlayOn, Hulu, etc?

And when someone gets it working (via plug-in or Sage release), you will know about it, because you'll hear the shouting from the mountaintops. ![]()

FWIW, I just noticed byu tv as a channel via my dish network absolute HD package, and I think it does appear in most of their other packages. I'm in cincinnati, so it's not a Utah thing.

Will Webfeedencoder work for BYU TV webstream
Will Webfeedencoder work for BYU TV webstream? From my brief review of Webfeedencoder, it should capture internet TV, right?

BYU TV is available on satellite Galaxy28 and is free. If you have a small satellite dish and pci dvb card you could use software called dvbdream with a network encoder plugin and stream the channel to SageTV. The video resolution would more than likely be better than an online version. Plus, there are other channels that are free.
