BTW: I've sent another message to SageTV saying it still isn't working as of this evening.

West, TX - zip 79549 still doesn't work. Neighboring zip (with slightly different channel lineup works).

CA 94947, checking in, still not working, 2:30 PM PST.
Any help, or even status updates, greatly appreciated. Not knowing anything is worse than knowing the severity of the issue, no matter how bad it might be... Thanks! |

As far as I can tell, it should be working now. If you get no results, try exiting & restarting SageTV. Perhaps the last results were being cached; if so, a restart will reset the cache & it should download afterwards. Let us know if there are still problems. - Andy

I think I can now confirm that the some type of problem still exists with the EPG. My EPG has been stuck with the same data up to 6/11 for the last couple of days...no new data has been coming in from the SageTV EPG server. I've tried all the usual stuff...restarted SageTV, rebooted the SageTV server, tried removing those 3 epg_data_sources lines from the .properties file for each source, toggling a channel in the lineup, manually forcing an EPG update with Nielm's web server and still no updated guide data coming in. The only thing I haven't done is remove all of the sources and reconfigure...and I don't want to do that AGAIN unless I really have to.

94121 looks good. Thanks for the support.
Edit: The programming info for The Travel Channel is still wrong. I don't know who to blame for that one. TitanTV.com has the correct listings for this channel but the program guide in SageTV doesn't. Last edited by vanisher_sage; 06-01-2009 at 07:22 PM. |

Yup! Thanks, Andy!
Very strange behavior with both the 'active' wiped and backup configuration. Cleaned out channel config entirely, restarted, re-added, reconfigured, and all is back as it was. The wiz.bin file is over 1GB smaller, so maybe the cleanup included something regarding the original channel config, but things seem to be back up and running. Thanks again to all involved. Have a nice summer! |

OK, now my guide is finally updated with data through 6/14. Not sure how or why it is now and wasn't 3 hours ago. After manually updating at around 7:30pm and not getting any new EPG data, it looks like somehow another EPG update got kicked off around 9:30pm and was able to finally get data.

EPG - Please Wait
Can someone tell me the expected wait time for EPG data to load? I let it sit over night and I still have the screen stating "Please wait while the channel lineup is downloaded...". I am using zip code 30450.
Thanks for any help. |
