Stuttering Live TV
New problem just started about a week ago, but seems to be happening more and more frequently. When watching live tv on hd 200 extenders video will freeze, and audio drops out and all the sudden it appears to FF and begins to behave normally. Sometimes it just starts FFing without freezing. This happens on my 2250 with digital channels, AND my MCE500 with analog cable. I have a WD 1TB green drive as my only recording drive, and it is formatted with the 64K blocks. I managed to view the server behavior during one event, and comskip was not running, and there was only 2 shows recording. CPU levels were low as was network traffic and memory usage.
Since updating to the lastest extender firmware (not including the one released today) I have been getting GUI errors, could this be the problem? I've been running for about a year without problems, is it maybe time to do a thorough defrag of the recording drive?

I'd check your hard drives to make sure they aren't failing. This is just a guess. 2 recordings shouldn't be an issue, and defragging shouldn't be necessary if you are using 64k blocks, but give it a try to see if that fixes the problem.

Just realized that superfetch was enabled, and so was advanced write options for that drive. I disabled both and upgraded to the latest firmware on the extender. I'll run chkdsk on the drive too.
