My system is actually in a closet from my office (adjacent to my living room). I then have a single HDMI and USB cable running out to my TV in the living room. The USB is for Audio, Blu-Ray and USB-UIRT, and the HDMI is for video. Works awesome. The footprint out there is Quite small, being just my TV, receiver, and my external USB Blu-Ray drive. I still have all the advantages of the system being out there (full PC capabilities, Local Blu-Ray/DVD slot, etc), with zero noise/space.
