Just making sure. Definitely seems like a bug with the latest API wrappers. We'll know more once I hear back from GKusnick.

Well, it's working like a charm, thank you so much! Tonight's game went over by 30 minutes or so and Sage recorded it all. The HAF just went up another notch

@mbowling I've heard back from GKusnick and there is no problem with the 1.3.3 wrappers. I've confirmed this myself by upgrading both of my servers to version 1.3.3 and I am not seeing the same issue you are.
Please open up the gkusnick.sagetv.jar file from SageTV/JARs/ in WinZip (or your favourite zip utility). There should be a file called "Version 1.3.3" inside the jar file. Please make sure it is Version 1.3.3. Also, make sure you do not have multiple copies of the jar file (I don't think they've ever been renamed, but I'm starting to run out of ideas for you). Do a check for *gkusnick* inside your JARs folder. Are there multiple jars listed?

Yes, I did have multiple gkusnick jars. I had a total of three: gkusnick.sagetv.jar, Copy of gkusnick.sagetv.jar and gkusnick.sagetv.jar.125. I deleted all but the gkusnick.sagetv.jar and everything seems to be working normally now. Thank you for helping me resolve this problem.
One suggestion I would like to make about SRE. I had no idea how to configure the plugin until I did a lot of searching in the forum. Could the information provided by spacecadet be added to the first post of SRE? This one paragraph of information will be very beneficial in helping new users configure SRE. The information is from this post http://forums.sagetv.com/forums/showthread.php?t=50053 Jetty is separate from SRE. Jetty is a web server that SRE (as well as several other plugins, like the Web UI) runs inside of. The Jetty plugin is documented here: http://tools.assembla.com/sageplugins/wiki/Jetty I believe the default username/password is sage/frey and the default port is 8080. You can change these settings by configuring the Jetty plugin. Once SRE is installed, it exposes itself at the path /sre/. Once you've got everything installed and running you just need to know the following: 1. The IP Address of the PC where Sage TV is installed (for example, 192.168.0.1) 2. The port that Jetty is running on (by default, 8080) 3. The Jetty username/password (by default, sage/frey) 4. The path to SRE (/sre) Then, open up a web browser and navigate to: http://192.168.0.1:8080/sre |

A formal user guide is in the works. Hopefully sooner than later, but definitely eventually. (Seriously, though, I'm just about done porting all my active plugins to Sage v7 and when that's done I'll be refreshing all my documentation.)

Plugin has been working great on v7. Been running flawless for weeks!
One thing I noticed that seems to be new is that "Live TV" is being monitored by SRE. I notice this quite a bit on College Football Saturdays. I'll turn on a game to watch live and notice later that it's appearing in my list of Recordings as a Manual Recording. Any chance you can make an option to not monitor "Live TV" (non-favorite, non-manual viewing)? Otherwise, loving the plugin! |

Can you open an issue ticket to remind me? Probably won't get around to it until I'm done with the initial SJQv4 beta, but when I have the time, I'll add the option.

Looking to get this working, however I seem to be getting a 503 "SERVICE_UNAVAILABLE" error when I try to go to the SRE page via Jetty. http://<servername>:8080/sre
I have tried to delete and re-install via the plugin system, but the 503 error from Jetty has me stumped. Went as far as uninstalling all plugins, and trying to clear out directories just in case there were any conflicts. So far, I can confirm that Jetty is working as Neilm's web service is running, and going to http://<server>:8080/apps does list SREv3. I am also seeing the warnings in sage about setting my google account, but can't get into the web page to get this set up. Any suggestions on what I can try? Thanks!

Ok, not sure what the heck is going on, but all appear to be working now.
Modified Jetty to output DEBUG log files, and tried to replicate the error, but it worked. Backed out the DEBUG, and it still works. Slugger, I'd say thanks for fixing it, but not sure what was really broken to begin with. Unless you put a "wait until morning to start working" tag in your code to make me think I'm nuts!

After reading through the thread, I have this working and SREv3 has sucessfully monitored one game today. However, another game which is listed in the guide as College Football: "Michigan State at Iowa or Missouri at Nebraska" gets the yellow triangle. System messages show the following:

You can do this through the Web UI or if you have the STV installed, you can do it from the Sage UI. |

Thanks for the quick reply. I didn;t realize you could override the title. Worked like a charm but the relatives is Missouri may not be too happy with this game...

Did you manage to get the override in before the game actually started recording? If not, then I'm afraid that the game wasn't monitored. You have to add the override before the recording starts in order for the override to be used.

Could someone please give me a tutorial on the override functionality. I would like to try SRE with the World Series on Sunday night. I have a yellow triangle. Apparently, I need to use an override to modify the title of the game? In the Sage guide it says "MLB Baseball". In the SRE web interface the Title is "MLB Baseball" and the Episode is "World Series, Game 4: Teams TBA". I'm not sure what I need to override. How do I fix the yellow triangle?

San Francisco Giants at Texas Rangers Note that the yellow triangle won't go away until after 12:00 ET on the day of the game (there are technical reasons for this). But if your episode says "Teams TBA" then you'll need an override and you can create it at any time. An override must be created before the recording starts otherwise SRE cannot use it.
