Slugger,
Does livepvrdata have Formula1 info? Luckily I was home and able to manually extend today's Canadian Grand Prix, but I would have been seriously ticked if I had missed the end of today's race. Tom

Not currently. They don't go out tracking down new sources for new events. Either someone over there wants a monitor for a sport and they find a source and write a monitor for it or someone provides a source and asks nicely for a monitor. You find the source, they'll probably write the monitor (or I probably would). Finding the source is the real tricky part. I tried NASCAR back before I used their web service for monitoring and that was a pain, the source was unreliable and not real time. I know they've looked at NASCAR themselves and decided it wasn't worth the trouble. Not sure about F1, really it comes down to finding a source web site to monitor races. You find the source, I'll pass it along.

do you realize how cool googleTV would be with SRE functionality?
sports fans everywhere will go nuts when this hits the outside (of sage) world. can/did you keep the rights to this?

Seriously, though, the code for SRE is open source so nothing stopping Google from doing what they will with it if/when the time comes.

I am not sure what the issue is, but I do see many/many sre logs in the jetty folder and the log files are huge and growing. Here is a small taste of what they are in the request.log file which is 500MB in size.

Luckily sagealert threw an error on my WHS sage server as it was about to run out of space. 2 most recent things I did were to update sre and sagealert and add the licence file in the plugin config. I also saw many old log files in Jetty and deleted all except the last 3 days. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, |

I'm able to reproduce this. Issue 304 has been opened for this bug. The problem occurs by opening the recording schedule in the web UI. As long as you leave it open, the infinite 500 errors will occur, filling up your logs rather quickly. Once you close the web UI, the errors stop.

All users should upgrade to 3.0.0.1576 IMMEDIATELY!
Build 1576 is now in the repository. This fixes the bug mentioned by HuMan321 above, which sends your web browser into an infinite loop with the Jetty server when you view the recording schedule in the web UI. The end result is your Jetty logs grow infinitely and in a hurry, which will likely exhaust your disk space (and these logs will grow to many GBs in size rather quickly if you leave the web page open).
This appears to be a regression, but I can't exactly pinpoint which build caused the regression (without more research that I don't feel like performing) so please just upgrade to 1576 to ensure you don't hit this bug. All users are advised to upgrade immediately. IMPORTANT NOTE: After upgrading, check the SRE version in the web UI before loading the recording schedule for the first time. A cached version of the web UI might still exist in your browser so refresh the web UI and check the version (Help > About) and ensure it's 1576 before loading the recording schedule for the first time after upgrading.

Yeah, it was green, then it went yellow today. I deleted the override and recreated it and then it went green again. If you leave it, it should go back green within 24 hours (SRE automatically checks overrides daily). I'm guessing the data on the web site changed temporarily and it's since been changed back. If it's not green by Tue then delete and recreate the override based on the data at www.livepvrdata.com/events.jsp?date=20110712

last night turned me into an SRE fanboy again...........................Red Sox vs. Rays went 16 innnings before someone scored a run, great defensive plays, nail biting lost opportunities, the good guys won.............couldn't ask for more
and thanks to SRE, i got to watch the rest of the game this morning (went to bed after 12 innings) as the game took up 35GB and almost 6 hours of HDPVR recording time................only thing i have to do now is change my default for maximum time extension from 3 hours to 4 or 5 hours (i almost ran into my 3 hour max extension time last night/this morning, shy by only 5 minutes of missing the game ending) take THAT, Tivo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
