Love the styling in this CSS. Thanks robogeek.

Version 2.29 has been released. There are a couple new features such as robogeek's SageTV v7-style skin, and the ability to edit extender, client, and placeshifter names (mostly to offer the same feature I just added to the mobile web interface). The names are no longer stored in extenders.properties, either. They've been moved to Sage.properties to allow them to be shared by other plugins.

Aside from that, the rest are bug fixes that have been reported since the last couple of releases and were causing problems for users.

  1. An error "is not a valid directory on the server" was displayed on the XML Importer if the user didn't want to import from a directory of XML files and left the directory name blank
  2. Manual recording filter was not working on search page
  3. Favorite automatic conversion destination folder was required when Alternate Destination Folder was selected even if Automatic Conversion was not enabled
  4. Favorite automatic conversion setup failed with error "Must specify conversion destination folder" even when Alternate Destination Folder had a valid value
  5. Verify that Favorite automatic conversion Alternate Destination Folder exists and is writable
  6. Changed to robogeek's SageTV v7-style skin
  7. Store client, extender, and placeshifter descriptive names in Sage.properties. Extenders.properties is no longer used.
  8. Edit client, extender, and placeshifter descriptive names from web interface (click on the context in the home page to go to the client/extender details page)
Jason

EDIT: Be sure to clear your browser's cache or use Shift+F5 or Control+F5 to see the new skin.

Hi Jason, thanks for the update, the efforts are appreciated. One problem I've noticed - clicking on the SageTV icon at the top of the page (which I've realised I do ALL the time!) gives you the "Nothing to see here..." page instead of the home page.

Also, I'm not seeing a background image. Fine for me, I don't think it neeeds one, but don't know if this was intentional or a problem with my setup.

Cheers!
Rick

Any chances the Web UI will be able to integrate with the Multi User support plugin once it comes out of beta? I'm thinking mainly for adding / deleting of favorites and for manual recordings, but creating and deleting users would be nice too.

Thanks!

Awesome update! A feature request, if you can, is to use the Zap2It logos for channels. I've deleted all of mine so that Sage will use Zap2It's - so now I have none in the Web UI.

Thanks!

Thanks for the tip. I too was wondering why I didn't see the new skin!

I see the same thing. I don't know what would have broken that. I'll do some research.

It doesn't have one.

Most likely not. I'm not making a lot of changes to this plugin other than bug fixes. The minor enhancements I do make are only for standard Sage features.

Thanks, I added a note to the 2.29 announcement above.

Arrow Version 2.30

Version 2.30 is ready and addresses several requests made based on the 2.29 release. This release requires SageTV 7.1.5 or later.
  1. Support V7.1 Channel Logos
  2. Fix header logo links to return to Home page
  3. Add system message level to system message id
  4. Display show season and episode
  5. Add property to CSS file so a background image can be used if the user wants a custom one
This wraps up any work I'll be doing on this plugin for a while. I plan on spending some time on the mobile web interface for a while.

Jason

Is there an issue with the plugin system or did you not put a dependency (hope that's the right term) in for 7.1.5? I ask because I was notified about this update/system message, but I'm still on 7.0.23. I haven't tried to do an update, but I wouldn't have expected the system to notify me of an update which isn't compatible.

I don't see it in the war file. Have you tried clearing your browser's cache? I don't think Ctrl+F5 will work for something that was removed from the server but still exists in the client cache.

The dependency is there, it might be an issue with the plugin system.

Not a cache thing, the Background.jpg is still in the folder on the server, I assume from the previous versions...

I believe you'll get notified of any plugin updates, but attempts to install the update without the required dependencies will produce an error and the install/upgrade attempt will fail.

I recently noticed an update. I installed but it looks like the background is now gone from the web interface. I am left with a grey background only. Was this by design? Thanks, Neil

Not sure if this is the correct place to ask this - but, I use the web remote and the video library button brings up the standard Sage video interface - I use MyMovies and that plugin replaced the sage video menu slot in my install.

Is there anyway to issue a command to go directly to MyMovies interface via the web remote without having to go to home, arrow down 3x and click 2 more times?

Thanks!
