I would appreciate having more space for titles along the left side (having the title column be wider). I know that the great majority of Sage users seem to have an obsession with metadata, where they need to have a bajillion pieces of info showing on the screen any time they select something (a video, a recording, a DVD, a song, etc.), but I would greatly prefer if the "metadata space" (the whole right side) were significantly smaller and the media listing "bars" were wider. I know the trend in UI's seems to be to have a ton of rows so that there is more stuff on the screen at once (i.e., Malore), but I just think it gets too cluttered and the text is too small to read. I've already changed my UI to only have 4 or 5 rows, rather than 7-9 as is default. Frankly, I think I would prefer it if the title bars were across the bottom, the entire width of the screen, and the top half of the screen were the metadata and such (top/bottom, rather than side-by-side)... oh, wait, that's too much like v6!

Maybe if the v6 layout just gave more space to the info at the top, rather than only being 1/4 to 1/3 of the screen, so that more metadata could have been up there, that would have pleased more people.
Also, forgive my eyesight or my lack of proximity to my TV set, but I want the font to be at least 17-18, rather than the default 15 that seems to be everywhere. And even at 15, many titles get cut off with ellipses, which I strongly dislike.
