I have all kinds of content in iTunes, including some TV shows. But mostly, I use it complimentary, like for music, movie rentals etc. Netflix works really well. I can remote control with my iPhone or the iPad, and you barely notice that it's there.

I am very curious to see the integration of Air Play with the AppleTV and the iPad/iPod Touch/iPhone. Depending on how well this works, we may even see a whole new way of multi-zonal audio and video.....

I just bought a Logitech Squeezebox Radio that is pretty cool. Paid $100 for it after rebate. If you keep your eyes open you might find one for the same price.

Not gadgety, but $100 could get you a really good car wash/wax/inside detail.
