Most of the channel logos that I am missing are the HD version of SD channels. Zap2it is providing the SD channel logo, but not the HD channel logo. I found mine in the GeneratedThumbnails subdirectory (within the SageTV directory), mixed in with thumbnails for various television shows. The logo files are missing a file extension, if you copy the file to the ChannelLogos directory, rename the file appropriately and add a .png extension, they should then show up in your EPG.

Hmm, i am having issues where an added logo is showing up on my server, but not on my client. Can any one else confirm?

Did you re-start your client after adding the logos to the server?

Yes i did. Okay im baffled. Client connected to HTPC, and the HTPC itself, not only get (or are missing) different logos, but the ones they have are different images (WMOR on BOTTOM missing manually placed in Channellogos, on top service found it?) and QVC two completely different pictures?

Custom logos for a client PC have to be put on the client PC, just like its other customizations.

Man i am loving these logos. As a suggestion though, Is there a way to get a setup option for

if logo is present hide channel name? Alot of channels logos are a stylized version of the name. Would be nice if it was just

LOGO - Number

or

(no logo) - Number/Name

Thanks. I found them but if I use the "large" version of the thumbnail then it doesn't seem to scale well in the EPG grid. If I use the "small" version then it appears too small when used in the "preview" (upper right corner of guide). It seems that it would be best to just copy all the files/sizes for the main channel and rename while keeping them in the GeneratedThumbnails but I can't quite decipher the number in the logo file name to map it to one of the sub-channels (it doesn't seem to match up with the station id).

I'm running 7.15,

Some are only showing SD icons for the HD channels. (example same icon for AMC doesn't specify amc HD for HD channel)
Some are only SD channels and no icon for HD channels. (example: BET has an icon for SD but the BETHD no icon)

Edit: Actually AMC HD is a bad example cuz it's actually there. Let's make it CBS, CW, ABC, FOX, PBS, MyTV, NBC. My feed is Clear Qam.

The Zap2it Channel Logos show on the server and web interface but don't show on the client. I've forced an EPG update, restarted but no luck. I removed the old logos as well. What else should I try?

Two things come to mind:

1. Did you remove the logos on the SageClient machine as well as the server machine?

2. Is the SageClient running the latest version?
