Anyone else have broadstripe cable? -Or- Why streaming isn't important to me

I know this is an old thread but I am thinking of moving to an area of South Lyon, MI only serviced by Broadstripe as well. Did you ever get the speed issue resolved and if so, how is it now? There is no way I could live with that speed everyday.
