Slow video views with fanart

Using the defualt STV with Phoenix fanart enabled the cover view of movies is very slow. It always has been a little slow but seems to have gotten worse recently. This is better on my HD300 than my HD200 as you would expect but using page down usually has a delay of about 10 seconds. That is really a nuisance when trying to scroll through 420 movies. I know some of you have larger collections than me. These kind of delays make the library really unusable. I realize this is probably not a BMT question but maybe there is a BMT solution. This isn't really a BMT question/issue. Whatever plugin you are using to display fanart... see if it has an option scale the fanart. If does, then do that. The slowdowns are probably related to the fact that fanart has to be rescaled for your display in real time.
