I see some NBA and NHL games now. Must have been a temporary glitch.

Something has fubar in my sre for a while now. Just getting a chance to dig in to it.
my livepvrdata/events query returns COLLEGE BASKETBALL ================== That is it.... I cannot find any errors in logs (though I may have missed a log somewhere). It looks like it is crapping out in in the Event handling groovy, since it does not display an event or 'no games' (or any other monitors). On a possibly related note: querying livepvrdata/status returns: Problem accessing /livepvrdata/status. Reason: Ambiguous method overloading for method com.google.gson.Gson#fromJson. Cannot resolve which method to invoke for [null, class java.lang.Class] due to overlapping prototypes between: [class com.google.gson.JsonElement, class java.lang.Class] [class java.io.Reader, class java.lang.Class] [class java.lang.String, class java.lang.Class] Perhaps my install is fubar and I need to uninstall/re-install? Not exactly which plugins to uninstall/re-install... Can anyone offer a clue?

I am getting an error on SRE. This error is using the new docker and new version of Jetty. I have an old server that does not get this error.
See this post in the Jetty web server thread: https://forums.sagetv.com/forums/sho...&postcount=132

If other games are working what about updating the NHL map for Kraken

I don't think any games are working - the livepvrdata website is working and I am pretty sure that Sage tries to monitor the game, but then it throws some Java errors when trying to execute the code - see the error message that I have posted in that Jetty thread.
I also got this error for the SuperBowl on Sunday, as well as both NBA and NHL games on Monday. I also think that I have had this error repeatedly on this server, but I am not sure if this did work once upon a time. This server was built around Christmas time, but I just started using this specific docker, which includes both DCT and Sage, around early-mid January.

I'm not sure what's going on there. It says SRE is getting "Connection Refused". The only thing it tries to connect to is the LivePVRData server, which you said you can use in the browser.
Can you double-check the SRE settings for where to find the livepvrdata server? It should be set to "http://localhost:8080/livepvrdata" unless you're doing something different with the server setup. Nothing changed in SRE at all (there was no new version). There wasn't much changed in livepvrdata, other than the Jetty context. I don't have sage running in docker, so I know I didn't test that. But I did test in both Windows and Linux and saw it work. Anything interesting about your setup to help with troubleshooting? |

It looks like the port setting was the issue - I didn't know that you had to manually set the port. I use port 80 for Jetty as this is a docker instance where I use the br0 network setting so there is no worry about port conflicts.
I have changed the port and try things out again. Is there any way to automatically pull the port data from the Jetty settings so that this issue won't happen for others?

MLB Baseball is not working for me. I suspect a configuration problem, but I am not seeing what it might be.
The biggest problem is that http://myServer:8080/livepvrdata/ keeps saying that there are no MLB games. During a game being recorded yesterday, the sre.log contained repeating lines that said this: 2022-03-22 16:12:00,001 DEBUG: 69348641/MLB Baseball: Execution started. 2022-03-22 16:12:00,001 DEBUG: 69348641/MLB Baseball: No override found. 2022-03-22 16:12:00,001 INFO : 69348641/MLB Baseball: Fetching status with data: [MLB Baseball, Detroit Tigers at Philadelphia Phillies, 1647968400000] 2022-03-22 16:12:00,189 WARN : 69348641/MLB Baseball: Error from web service; safety measures already applied. 2022-03-22 16:12:00,189 DEBUG: 69348641/MLB Baseball: Execution completed. 2022-03-22 16:14:00,000 DEBUG: 69348641/MLB Baseball: Execution started. 2022-03-22 16:14:00,001 DEBUG: 69348641/MLB Baseball: No override found. 2022-03-22 16:14:00,001 INFO : 69348641/MLB Baseball: Fetching status with data: [MLB Baseball, Detroit Tigers at Philadelphia Phillies, 1647968400000] 2022-03-22 16:14:00,196 WARN : 69348641/MLB Baseball: Error from web service; safety measures already applied. 2022-03-22 16:14:00,196 DEBUG: 69348641/MLB Baseball: Execution completed. How do I figure out what error the web service is throwing? The SageTV log did not have any SRE-related messages at 16:12 or 16:14. By the way, yesterday's game ended on time, so I do not know what would have happened if it had gone long.

i know that verizon fios has always waiting until opening day to populate anything into the MLB channels. each year i panic, and then it shows up on the day of the first game.
i don't know if this is related to your problem or is a separate issue. in any case, let this be my annual "SRE is the best plugin EVAH" posting. i can't imagine baseball without it. go Sox!

This reminded me that I have to change the NextPVR specific version of this great project to support the Guardians name change. I don't know if the SageTV version needs that or not.

as usual, fios waited until opening day to add MLB games to the EPG.
it looks like i have at least two problems now: 1. SRE does not seem to be set/found for any of today's games (i.e. the yellow triangle) 2. a recording favorite, scheduled to record red sox games, did not show or find any upcoming games. when i looked at the available games found, it listed next week's games in detroit as available under "past recording", not "future recordings". the sagetv clock is set to April 7 but it is showing games for the 11th-13th as "past" any ideas? could #1 be due to the jetty issue i see being discussed? if so, how do i check that and what is the solution? happy opening day! edit: 2nd problem disappeared and now next week's games show up in the 'future'..........no idea why however, it is still a no go on SRE. i'll try to troubleshoot tomorrow

i finally got back to this.
i needed to clean up my Jetty files, and now SRE works on baseball games. however, the display in recording schedule only shows the red icon with the exclamation point until the game starts. i don't remember that as being the default behavior in previous years. it's almost like it only tags the recording as monitored once the game starts?

would you mind trying an MLB game tonight and see if you get the same thing? it could then be baseball/sport specific, which would certainly be a clue.

MLB BASEBALL ============ No games for this date. It has been that way since the beginning of this season, so I don't know when it changed. Since I only record for one team, I can go in through the override screen, take the defaults, and all is well. If I forget to do that, it takes care of itself once the game starts.

There's not too many other games these days, so it is hard to tell. But I do see a green check for Game 7 of the Stanley Cup final for Tuesday and it is an if necessary game, like all Game 7s.
