Just started experiencing the HD200 dying w/auto comskip enabled. Strange.

I acually had both. First thing a did was unplug the HD200 and then rebooted my server [twice I think].

unfortunately this doesn't work on my side ... I cannot connect with the 409 build. reverting back to 408 (only replacing the phoenix.xml file) and restarting saves that issue for me...

I have PC client issues with 409 as well. I just get the spinning circle when it tries to load the STV (either from main menu EXIT -- Return to Phoenix... or from Detailed Setup, Advanced -- Reload last custom STV)

I have to exit Sage from Task Manager. Sage is taking up 278MB and growing, and another instance is steady at about 4MB.

I'm also having the same issue with two HD300's -- neither want to work now after moving from 404 to 409.. I've rebooted once and restarted Sage a few times.. I'll try a few more reboots but may have to revert back to a prior version..

Edit: I saved away the old SageTV installation tree to "SageTV.save" and re-installed.. I'll see if re-installing 409 will kill it again..

Edit2 : Ok.. reinstalled 409 and tried using it on one of the HD300's and it caused some really whacky issues -- no images, just text and it was all overlapping really badly making it unusable. I've uninstalled it completely and reverted back to plain 'ol Sage. Is there a way to install 408 instead? I'm really used to using it and like it over the stock UI.

You might want to check if your issues are related to this post...

Thanks for the link.. I re-loaded Phoenix 409 again (3rd time) to see if the affliction was present and it was not -- in fact it behaved just fine on both of my HD300's and the main server too.. Go figure.. I'll keep this in mind for next time though.. Now to fix my EPG issue..

I don't have the HD300 but am having issues with .409. I tried the properties file search for "phoenix/users/default/Skin=" and notta. Probably not in there since I don't have an HD300...?

Anyway, when I start Sage it hangs at the splash screen and the status bar reads: User Interface Manager is initializing...

I'll keep looking in the log files for any hint of what's going on.

Ok, I'm lost. The Yahoo weather simply doesn't work for me. Is there a some configuration that I need that gets weather from Yahoo rather than Google? Do I need to enter my Yahoo account somewhere to get this thing to download weather? Is there some line in the an .ini file that needs changing? Help!

I also have the same problem. I did go to the config and added my zip code and changed it to farenhight and it won't update unless I go to the sage basic menu and then back to pheonix.

Yup. Not much there to configure, zip code, units. But it simply never gets any data updates.

Nothing odd in the logs. There were a couple of Exceptions and I've opened a bug related to those, but nothing stands out as to why this isn't working for you

In fact, the logs show it talking to
http://weather.yahooapis.com/forecastrss?w=12794957&u=f

And there are no errors being reported.

Could this be related to a java error? Or would that show up in the logs?

I'm not seeing any errors related to weather at all. It looks as if the weather is working (from the logs). In your case, are you not seeing any weather... or are you not seeing the weather being updated?

My weather works, it just won't update unless I go back to sage default menu and then come back to pheonix. Then it is updated.

I'm not seeing the weather update. When I exit to the default Sage UI for any reason, it updates, but I'm not sure that the weather shown is really from Yahoo 'cause it's exactly what is shown in the default UI, and, as I understand it, that's from Google.

So, while it definitely appears that there is communication with Yahoo, I don't know if data is actually getting to the right place.
