As I noted in another thread, it unfortunately only supports stereo audio if that is significant to you. It's too bad they couldn't at least have the option to just convert the video and pass through the audio untouched.

Looks like there is no Cable Support in the near future QAM is dead in my area no longer available for any channels..... and I already have 6 OTA tuners... So I see no need for it at the moment.

It's a niche market for sure. If cablecard is a must it's not the solution for you. For us, we have been soley OTA for 5 years now and the 33 channels we watch out of the 49 we get are more than adequate.
