DVB Decrypter Smartcard Client Filter
- Fixes FireDTV tuner support.
- Fixes glitch when recording more that four very high bitrate (> 10 Mbps) HD channels with a single smartcard.
- Increased channel tuning speed.

As this is a library upgrade only, SageTV will not notify of the new version, therefore you have to do it manually via:

Setup > SageTV Plugins > Installed Plugins > Library > DVB Decrypter Smartcard Client Filter

Please restart the SageTV server if not prompted to do so.

A new version is available to download:

DVB Decrypter Smartcard Server
- Update to build #9665.
- Removed the OsCAM launcher from distribution. If you want to keep the launcher please make a copy of the executable first.

Without the OsCAM launcher, please run OsCAM via task scheduler with the '-r2 -b' options.

IMPORTANT: Before doing the update please stop the OSCAM server first.

A new version for the plugin is available to download. This version is the result of many months of testing and observation whereby I noticed that the PTSFix, which I've previously disabled, is in actual fact necessary in some circumstances where the transport stream doesn't contain an accurate timestamp and the PTSFix comes to help. If you noticed some strange and very regular pixellation in the image then probably the time stamp in the transport stream is not accurate and therefore this fix is necessary.

- Enable the SageTV PTSFix in the registry.

Hi,

some of you have experienced a failure during the plugin's filter registration stage and in particular under Windows 7 and Windows 8/8.1. This failure is due to administration permission privilege that are required in order to install the filter into the Windows registry. Sometimes even running SageTV under such permissions is not enough, therefore the zip file in attachment comes to the rescue and will allow to successfully install the filter in manual mode, just follow the simple instruction below please:

• Stop SageTV service.
• Unzip the file in attachment under SageTV installation directory.
• Look for and select the "DVBDCC Register" batch file and right click to open the context menu.
• From the context menu select "Run as Administrator" and voila!
• Start SageTV service with administrator account.

The two files in the zip to manually register & unregister the filter will be available as standard from the next release (if any ).

Please bear in mind that from now on I'm building every OsCAM distribution as required by using my own Cygwin environment and therefore all the proper DLL provided are consistent so please refrain from mix and match previous or different version of OsCAM with these DLL as they might compromise the correct functional behaviour. If you have special requirement just let me know and I will see what I can do to help you:

- New improved and faster channel/tuner matching algorithm
- New filter registration mechanism from Windows 7 upwards

DVB Decrypter Smartcard Client Filter
- Unlimited number of local/remote card readers with support of unique, multiple or same CAID, just use a unique "group" number for each reader entriy in the oscam.server. Also ECM/EMM with multiple CAID supported.
- Automatic dynamic card reader allocation to each tuner, this will balance the cards usage between all the available tuners
- Avoid regenerating oscam.user if oscam.server hasn't changed. This also avoid restarting OsCAM server every time you restart STV server
- Improved encrypted channels tuning speed. Now 2/3 seconds when tuning from EPG
- Channel scan supported, finally
- Removed dependency from STV altogether, the filter can now be used as general DirectShow DVB Decrypter transformation filter in any filter graph. Contact me if you are interested to the protocol format to send the SID to the filter.

IMPORTANT
The 'oscam.user' file format has changed, so after performing the plugin update you either delete the current 'oscam.user' or change the oscam.server which in turn will re-generate 'oscam.user'. Also the 'Tuner-xx.log' files format has changed to be less verbose and more to the point, so if something doesn't work or not configured properly the log will tell you

DVB Decrypter Smartcard Client Filter
- Fix small issue on multiple encrypted recordings
- Supports 32/64 bit version of the filter based on MSVC2010 redistributable (DVBDCC32.dll, DVBDCC64.dll).
- New installation script automatically detects 32/64 bit environment making the old DVBDCC.ax filter obsolete.
