OK, here's my PVR350 *Update*...

It's been running mostly perfect since my last post! We have recently "upgraded" to a 160GB HDD now since the two 40's kept running out of space! Last night we had a lockup while FF through some commercials, it was recording something else on another channel too, and that is the only problem we've had since 7/20/04...but I can't complain too much about it, and the wife just said "oh well, hit the reset", so it was not a big deal and it has been the *only* problem we've had in the last couple of weeks.

In respect to the DVI, I am thinking about switching back to S-Video since the picture quality just doesn't seem to be there...I know from reading other posts on some other msg boards that it's something to do with analog-digital-analog-digital conversion happening so many times because of the differences in DVI between PC's and TV's and so forth...

Now, if I could only find a copy of the NVDVD decoders that everyone talks about...

Rob

I had reliablity problems using PVR-350 and TV Out. (this included V2.20)
The preview window showing the picture in the top LHS would flicker badly and frequently
the Sage menu would 'bleed' and eventually the screen was unreadable.
The remote could not be used because problems developed so quickly.
I'm using PAL in the UK.

I have now switched to GForce FX5200 for TV out and everything seems to work fine.
I have now had 2 weekends of using the remote to play back weekday recordings
and everything has been fine.

There is no flicker in the preview window and there has been no bleeding of the Sage Menu.

Sometimes the Volume control on the remote seems slow to respond when playing back a recording.
Keystokes 'queue up' so you get a list of key presses after 10-30 seconds
